It’s called Vi and it’s essentially an AI personal training living inside some biosensing earphones. The LifeBeam Vi is the product of a new Kickstarter campaign, which has already been 500% pledged as of June 14 at $500.000, with $100.000 being the goal. There are still 35 days to go, so it will be funded much more by the time the 35 days have passed.
The idea behind the project is that a trainer makes working out much more motivating, effective and fun. The Vi earphones will track you in your exercise and will coach you to achieve better results. If you have weight goals, the Vi AI personal trainer headphones will help you achieve those and if you’ve got a time that you would like to beat for a running route, the headphones will also guide you to achieve that. As a plus side, the Vi headphones allows you to enjoy your favorite music during your exercise and talk on the phone without the press of a single button, as the headphones also have a built-in microphone.
The Vi headphones are equipped with 11 internal input sensors that will track your heart rate, location, elevation, weather, speed, cadence and even more so. The smartphone app, which is the actual AI fitness coach, will adapt over time in order to offer you a personal training plan and recommendations. Real-time coaching is, of course, also provided via the app.
You can get the Vi if you pledge $199 or more in the Kickstarter campaign. Estimated delivery time is December 2016 to January 2017. Please refer to the Kickstarter campaign for more info.
